The game between West Ham United has been scheduled by the FA on Wednesday evening January 29. The meeting between the two teams was initially scheduled for Saturday, December 21, but since Liverpool competed for the World Cup for clubs during that period, the game was postponed.
Liverpool reports on the club website that the game – visiting West Ham United – will be made up on Wednesday, January 29 at 8:45 PM (Dutch time). Liverpool won the World Championship for clubs, after difficult victories at the Monterrey of Vincent Janssen (1-2, after a hit by Roberto Firmino in injury time) and Flamengo (1-0 after extensions, after another hit by Firmino).
It promises to be a busy January for The Reds. With the addition of the game against West Ham, the team of coach Jürgen Klopp plays six games in 27 days, following the already debilitating schedule of no fewer than nine games in December this year.
After the 0-4 victory over Leicester City on Thursday evening, Liverpool are thirteen points away from Leicester and fourteen from Manchester City, which will play against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday evening.
Our @premierleague fixture away at @WestHam will be played on Wednesday 29th January, kick-off 7.45pm GMT.
