extended HÉV services and free special buses help spectators travel – Dunakanyar Region

The best option for traveling from Budapest to the Hungaroring is the extended flights of HÉV and the free special buses of Volánbusz for spectators of the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, Mávinform told MTI on Wednesday.

They wrote that instead of traveling individually, this year it is even more worthwhile to travel to and from the Hungaroring by HÉV and the bus routes connected to them.
It was announced: you can travel with HÉV from Örs vezér tere to Kerepes, where you can transfer to Volánbusz’s special buses that can be used free of charge, which transport passengers to gate 3 of the Hungaroring.
At the end of the race days, Volánbusz special buses run from the race site to Gödöllő instead of Kerepes, from there the MÁV-START KISS and double FLIRT motor trains depart every 15 minutes and arrive at the Keleti railway station in 30-40 minutes, Mávinform announced.

They noted: Volánbusz, in addition to special buses, also helps you get home from Gödöllő with its scheduled flights “up to their capacity”.
HÉV H8 runs frequently every 10-15 minutes between Mogyoród and Örs vezér tere on all three days of the Hungarian Grand Prix, during the journey to and from the race. The trains transport passengers with six cars from Friday to Sunday, it was announced in the announcement.
They also informed that the MÁV-VOLÁN group has introduced a joint, discounted, one-way “Hungaroring ticket” with BKK, the price of which is HUF 750; and the “Hungaroring flexi-ticket”, also valid for the round trip, can be purchased for HUF 1,500 for trips on July 21, 22 and 23 and can be used on HÉV, train and bus services.

Detailed information about the MÁV-VOLÁN group’s flights during the weekend of the Hungarian Grand Prix and discounted tickets can be found on the mavcsoport.hu/f1 website.
