It revealed that looking at the product sub-groups of the automotive industry, the “Supply Industry,” which achieved exports worth $ 1.69 billion with a 13 percent increase, was registered as the largest product group. in the exports of the sector.

He pointed out that while passenger car exports fell 20% to $ 748 million in October, “cargo vehicle” exports fell 4% to $ 448 million.

The “Tractors” group recorded the greatest increase in exports in October.

Exports of tow trucks increased by 95% and amounted to $ 214 million.

15% increase for Germany

In October, exports to Germany, the largest market, increased by 15% to $ 404 million.

While the UK is the second largest market with exports worth $ 285 million, exports to this country increased by 9% from the same month last year. Exports to France, the third largest market, fell 12% to $ 252 million.

In October, exports increased by 32% to Belgium, 23% to Russia, 21% to Romania, 79% to Portugal and 81% to the Czech Republic.

Baran Celik, chairman of the board of directors of the International Investment Bank, whose views were included in the statement, said the risks of a global recession increase with the problem of inflation.

The rise in automobile exports continued despite the contraction in the euro zone, Celik said: “We climbed to number one in sectoral exports on a monthly basis in October. We again recorded the highest exports in the supply sector. Our exports from the supply industry has grown, tow trucks, buses, minibuses and buses. The average is double-digit.
