The Sharjah Expo Center last year hosted international fairs with the participation of more than 2,500 companies and brands. The Sharjah Book Fair, organized by Kovid standards, was attended by thousands of visitors. The 11-day fair was attended by 1,000 publishers and 3.82 lakh visitors.
Online events were also organized. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expo Center, said more exhibitions would be possible as the trade and commerce sectors become more active. Announcing concessions to entrepreneurs created a favorable commercial and industrial environment.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of the Expo Center, said: The home appliance-electronics-clothing fair was held last month with huge discounts. He added that more events are being planned in Khor Fakkan and Daeid.
