A column of thick smoke rises above the site. Emergency vehicles immediately went there.
“Krymsky Veter” quotes eyewitnesses who say they heard a loud explosion, after which a column of smoke rose into the sky.
Video footage from the scene indicates that it was probably a missile strike.
Local propagandist Oleg Kryuchkov (advisor to the Crimean Gauleiter Sergey Aksyonov) said that the grass had exploded.
“The grass in the steppe caught fire in Olenivka. Rescuers are working at the scene.” – commented Kryuchkov.
Aksyonov himself has not yet issued a statement about the explosion.
