Masafi has always been a visitor’s favorite location in the UAE due to its rural beauty. The flower farm at Massafi is just as beautiful as the farmlands and hills. Hundreds of different species of flowers await visitors here.

The garden is located amidst the mountains of Masafi, one of the northern hill villages of the UAE, bordering Ras Al Khama and Fujairah. More than 30,000 flowers of different colors and varieties await visitors at the farm. Many types of flowers that Malayalis are used to seeing and not, such as snapdragons, larkspurs, hollyhocks, marigolds, surya kanti etc. can be seen in the farm.

The farm, owned by Emirati-born Mohammed Al Masroui, was opened to visitors in 2021. Flowers are planted between September and October. Plants reach full bloom in April and May. Not only are they displayed for visitors, they are also harvested and shipped to flower shops in Sharjah and Dubai.

Those who visit the farm have the opportunity to pick their favorite flowers and buy them fresh, and get their own seeds. Apart from flowers, horses and a petting zoo are also available for visitors to the farm. Horse safaris are also available. A small cafe is also set up for those who want to sit and enjoy a coffee or tea among the flowers. The entry fee to the farm is Dhs15 and children under two years of age and the disabled are free.

The farm opens at 1:30 pm on Fridays and 7:30 am on other days, and visitors can enter until 6:30 pm. The farm is located in Wadi Al Asima, Masafi. The vast vegetable gardens near the flower farm, wadis and hilltop camping sites will give the visitors a great experience. The sunset at Masafi through the mountains is very beautiful. Masafi Wadi Al Azeema is a great family destination that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
