Tips for Overcoming Tonsillitis

1. Get enough rest

Dr. Aisya explained that when a child is sick, they definitely need enough rest.

“So if your child is sick, make sure they rest. Especially for toddlers, their sleep is like their eating and drinking, part of the body’s circadian rhythm,” explained Dr. Aisha.

2. Give your child’s favorite food

The second tip recommended by Dr. Aisya is to meet her calorie or food needs.

The reason is, if a child is sick, energy will definitely be used to fight the disease.

The energy in the body is not used up for the child’s growth, but is used up to fight viruses and bacteria, so the child will automatically need calories or better nutrition.

In fact, if a child is sick, they will definitely not want to eat or have difficulty eating or will have a decreased appetite.
