According to the rest of the candidates, Niels has been the obvious winner of ‘Expedition Robinson: All Stars’ from day one, Dominique is still in top form after 21 days and Ferry – who has learned to keep his head cool during this edition – appeared to be a true puzzle king. But which of them is the ultimate Robinson?

21 days ago, they started the ultimate battle of the titans: 18 former candidates who reached the final, or semi-final of one of the past 23 seasons. Expedition Robinson have reached. Diehards and go-getters who know how to survive and can withstand the harsh life on a desert island took on the adventure one more time and it soon became clear: this Expedition is a showdown between heavyweights.
Ferry, Niels and Dominique eventually made it to the final. That Niels managed to get a spot came as a surprise to no one. He spent half of his time on Winners Island. He is therefore eager to win: “I have experienced a very nice adventure, made new friends, and also won very often. It was really fantastic. The finish line is so close, that gives a lot of energy to finish that last one. push. Now I want to win it too.”

For Ferry, a place in the final still feels unreal. He tells: “Expedition is a kind of rollercoaster of hunger, rain – we’ve had days where it just poured for two, three hours and you were in your poncho – waking up at night because it wouldn’t stop raining. Also, of course, a beautiful sun. Made new friends; you have very good, intense conversations with each other. Share joy and sorrow. You also fart at each other, those are real friends and family.”
“Expedition Robinson is an adventure and that you get to experience this twice is indescribable and very privileged. I feel like a privileged person.”

Dominique is especially proud of herself that she is in the final as an unknown Dutchman for the second time. “I am very happy that I was able to experience everything again. Once again sitting in a beautiful location with the most insane taste,” she says. “Really, I enjoyed it. I really have a great experience. The best and most beautiful adventure I’ve had in my life, and I’ve been able to do it twice.”
Nice words, but during the final they beep differently. It is lead, but really heavy.

The aim of the final is that you use a crossbow to make three Robinsonsymbols. The participants do this with arrows that they find on the course they are following. But where it normally remains exciting until the last minute who wins, it is immediately clear this season that Niels can call himself the winner. He has a crossbow at home and therefore hits all three arrows at once.
“One Expedition Robinsontitle to my name, that feels like a childhood dream come true,” he says happily after the win. “I’m really happy, efurophic and really very proud of myself, I can really be that now. I can’t wait to tell my girlfriend and my son.”
