The industrial-financial galaxy linked to the Agnelli-Elkann family took another step towards moving away from Italy this week. After having brought the legal and tax offices between London and Amsterdam of many investee companies – including for example Ferrari -, last week Exor, the holding chaired by John Elkann who also controls Juventus, among others, has made it known that he will leave Piazza Affari.
The economic daily Verità & Affari has retraced the performance of the Exor stock market since July 2018, after the death of Sergio Marchionne. In these four years the company has earned only 3.5% in Milan, for a capitalization that yesterday reached 15.9 billion. In the same period, to make a first comparison, the general index Ftse Mib Italia recorded an increase of 3.7%. In total, explains Verità & Affari, on the Stock Exchange Exor traded with values significantly lower than the net value of its assets (Nav).
