The House of the Latvian Society of Liepāja invites you to visit the painting exhibition “Love Latvia” by Jānis Judins
Exhibition opening 04.11.2023. at 12.00
The painting exhibition “Loving Latvia” will feature landscapes, cityscapes and flower compositions created in four seasons. Jānis Yudins is a plein air artist whose works were created directly in nature in one or two sessions. Each painted corner of the land of Latvia is loved by the eyes and the love of one’s land can be felt in every stroke of the brush.
Jānis learned both painting technique, attitude towards work and patriotism from the old masters: “The oil paint technique allows me to work in a variety of weather conditions – both in the heat of summer and in the cold of winter. I want to show the audience that beauty does not have to be looked for far, it is right here around us”.
The exhibition can be viewed from November 4 to November 30 in the gallery of the Latvian Society of Liepaja every day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
