The launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 has just been released, and it’s quite long. Giving us a look at our new timeline, finally confirming a rumored character, and showing us plenty of gore, we can’t help but be excited for the new fighting game.
Reiko is confirmed to be in the game, and we get our first look at his gameplay, including his critical strike. Additionally, we’ll see how the story will change who the good guys and bad guys are, as we even see Baraka teaming up with the Earth Kingdom team this time around.
Equally controversial, we get another look at Kronika’s return. Story aside, though, there are some clean combos and messy deaths to watch, including one from Shang Tsung that might be the most brutal in the series yet.
