“Excessive work pressure is not the main cause”: psychologist discusses the facts and myths about burnout | My Guide: Health

Year after year, the burnout figures are rising alarmingly: the number of employees at serious risk of burnout has even increased by no less than 61.4 percent*. Meanwhile, everyone knows at least one person who has fallen prey to it. Unfortunately, there are many misconceptions about this energy disorder, we estimate it wrongly and usually treat it incorrectly, says psychologist and HR consultant Gert Braeken.
