Fito Páez, Joaquín Sabina, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Emmanuel, Milly Quesada, Sheila E. and Pete Escobar, Emmanuel and Martinho da Vila are all the artists who were distinguished on Wednesday in the city of Las Vegas during the Awards event for the Excellence, dedicated by the Latin Recording Academy to honor the trajectory of legendary personalities linked to the world of music.
The award, which has already been placed in previous editions in the hands of Yuri, Lupita D’alessio, Pimpinela, Joan Báez, Ricardo Montaner, Los Lobos, Miguel Ríos, Armando Manzanero and Charly García, among many others, is not decided to competition mode, as with the categories presented during the Latin Grammy party itself, which will take place this Thursday.
That means that, in this case, no one loses, because everyone present goes home with a distinction of their own, after receiving flattering speeches and watching tribute videos together with the audience that function as retrospectives of their careers.
