Ex-law student from Jena is the best apprentice

Lisa Förster completed her apprenticeship as an insurance clerk with a grade of one.

Lisa Förster is Thuringia’s best apprentice in the insurance industry. Matthias Säckl from the IHK (right) and Andre Günther from Debeka Jena congratulated.

After eight semesters of law studies, Lisa Förster pulled the emergency brake and switched to dual vocational training. There the prospects simply seemed better to her: a solid job with a future, the chance to stay in Jena and still have opportunities throughout Germany.
So she applied to Debeka Insurance in Jena for an apprenticeship as an insurance and finance clerk.
She completed her three-year training in the summer with a grade of one and was even the best trainee in all of Thuringia with 92 points in her field. On Thursday she received a certificate and a training voucher from Matthias Säckl, head of training and further education at the IHK Ostthüringen.
The Debeka in Jena has long been a top address for Säckl when it comes to quality training. For Jena’s Debeka boss Andre Günther it was clear to take over Lisa Förster straight away. They are also interested in new apprentices.
