Ex-Chelsea colleague accuses him of a lack of attitude

Eden Hazard has been repeatedly criticized for his lack of performance for Real Madrid. His former teammate Filipe Luis is not stingy with this either.

Around a year and a half ago, Real Madrid paid Eden Hazard an impressive 115 million euros. But the Belgian has not been able to build on his previous performances at Chelsea. Injuries, in particular, slow down Hazard again and again.

First and foremost, Filipe Luis has an extremely high opinion of his former colleague. “Together with Neymar, Eden is the best player I have ever played with – on par with Messi,” Luis dictated the DAILY MAIL in the interview sheet. The Brazilian can not only speak in the highest tones, and provides a few anecdotes about Hazard’s work ethic.

Luis accuses the superstar with whom he played for the blues in 2014/15 that he didn’t train well. “Five minutes before the game he was playing Mario Kart in the locker room,” recalls Luis. Hazard also warmed up without tying his shoelaces.

“But then nobody could take the ball from him. He dribbled past three or four players and won games single-handedly,” added Luis in awe. “Hazard has so much talent. Maybe he lacks the ambition to say: I’ll be the best player in the world. Because he could be.”

At the moment Hazard is injured again. A muscle injury keeps him out for a while. This season, too, he only made 13 appearances with just over 600 minutes of play.
