Microsoft Defender, which promises full protection, has been launched on four major platforms, which is not the same as Windows Defender.

The Microsoft Defender app is now available for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, providing protection as part of the Microsoft 365 service provides for the device against local and online threats.
This should not be confused with Windows Defender (which is already Windows Security anyway). It is a complete security solution that works with built-in or external endpoint protection in a desktop environment.
Android also has web protection, but installed apps also scan the service. The least protection is provided on iOS, but web protection is there as well. The app is free to download, but only works with a subscription.
