Events from Sunday’s infamous edition of the Traditional Derby they have another finish. FC Spartak Trnava recently accused its rival Slovan Bratislava of deliberately trying to obscure and deceive about the development of the incident at the Trnava stadium.

The video published by the “red-blacks” on the social network proves this. managed to get to the upper tribune in the guest sector official statementthat the masked men in the upper tribune belong to the Slavic camp and staged the whole incident.

Read the full opinion of the management of the FC Spartak Trnava club:

We are outraged by the fact that the Slovan Bratislava football club is trying to misuse the events that happened during our mutual match on Sunday. From the beginning, it was the Slavic representatives who, with undue emphasis, urged the main referee to end the match prematurely, even though the stadium was in order after the guest sector was cleared and it was possible to play.

From that moment on, there was a media influence of Slavic public opinion in an effort to force contumacy. We admitted a mistake in organizing the match, but it is absolutely incomprehensible to us that Slovan could not even condemn the insane behavior of his fans. Instead, he signaled that he agreed with him and let them know that it could happen again in the future.

In his attempt to score three points behind the green table and not on the field, he is not even shielded or deliberately lying. According to their representatives, Spartak’s fans got into the guest sector above the Slavs, and they even try to prove it with a photo from which it is clear that they are Slavic fans. These places can only be reached from the guest sector. It was they who broke the nets that separate the two floors, which we can easily prove with a camera recording.

However, the full day was yesterday’s discussion on TA3 television. The way she was led by moderator Peter Bielik is minimally unethical. Fortunately, probably due to the short time, the production failed to find enough submissive discussants, who are at least partially honored that they did not allow themselves to be manipulated into the position of inquisitors, where they were pushed by the moderator from the initial minutes. The highlight was the tarnishing of the name of our player Martin Škrtel and the effort to connect him directly with the actions of the fans on the field.

Martin Škrtel is one of the legends of Slovak football and Spartak Trnava is behind him. He is a respected personality not only in Slovakia but also abroad. It is inadmissible for a four-time best footballer in Slovakia and a more than 100-time national team to be blamed by anyone without the slightest evidence.

Such a player could enjoy a well-deserved football pension and instead returned to play the Slovak Fortuna League, which undoubtedly increases its credit. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be associated in any way by certain media or even a section of the public with what was happening among the fans.

It is no secret that television and Slovan have the same owner, and in this context it is not surprising that it did not rush to plunder and contaminate the Slovan – Trnava match two years ago, in which the then captain of Spartak Trnava Bogdan Mitrea was insulted directly on the screen. We just remind you that the match not only ended, but had no sporting consequences for the organizer.

Despite these facts, we believe that impartial viewers will form their own opinion and will be competent to judge irrefutable facts, instead of bile media appearances and the fate of the match will be decided fairly.
