In total, Norway is set to receive two million extra Pfizer doses in June, July and August.
Geir Bukholm, director of infection control at the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH), informs VG.
– There are still reports of more Pfizer doses. It is great that there are so many doses, and that makes us very eager to get the vaccine needs covered quickly.

And not only that – even more deliveries are being upgraded: It is already known that Norway will receive 550,000 extra vaccine doses from Pfizer in the second quarter. The final number is now 592,000 doses.
In addition, there will be an additional 700,000 vaccine doses in July and an additional 700,000 in August.
In total, there will be two million extra Pfizer doses in June, July and August.
What does it mean when Norwegians get the first stab?
– This means that everyone is vaccinated much earlier. How early have we not had time to work out. We will update the vaccine calendar as soon as we have the delivery dates confirmed.
