Event employment agency Eventure has filed for bankruptcy NOW

Eventure, an employment agency that specializes in supplying staff for events, parties and festivals, has filed for bankruptcy. That confirms director Rob Seveke to NU.nl. The corona crisis with all the measures and prospects that go with it has killed the company.

“One event after another is being canceled and expectations are very unfavorable in that respect,” said Seveke, who filed for bankruptcy last Friday. Eventure provided staff for major events such as Lowlands, Emporium and the Four Days Marches.

For parties and festivals, Eventure supplied bar staff, people for coin sales, ticket scanners and hosts and ladies. Seveke started the company in 2007. “I then started doing business with large parties such as Mojo and Matrixx, then things are going fast.” There are six people on the company’s payroll, and three to four thousand people work through the employment agency every year.

“These are the months we should be talking about, our season runs from March, April to October. We achieve 90 percent of the turnover in this,” said Seveke. “Then you create the fat on the bones.” Last year, Eventure had a somewhat less year due to circumstances, but the prospects for this year are dramatic. “The future is too uncertain.”
