Evenepoel Wins and Collides with Spectator: Chaos at the Vuelta 2023

Another crazy stage at the Vuelta. After the night time trial, the times taken thanks to the fans’ mobile phones on day 2, Evenepoel wins, defeats the competition and ends up on the ground opening an eyebrow. All regular in one of the most sensational editions we’ve ever seen. Not that Evenepeol ended up on the ground by himself, but he did collide with a lady who was stationed at the roadside as she tried to cross, casting new shadows over a racing organization that is leaking everywhere in this start to the Vuelta .

Vendrame and Caruso on the run

Bardet attacks from afar
