Today, Icelandic developer CCP Games announced Reign, a Q1 update of 2021 for the unique player-focused sci-fi space MMO game Eve Online.
This quarterly update includes fleet system revamps, ongoing balance and meta tweaks, and updates to events such as Guardian Gala, Abyssal Probing Ground, and The Hunt, giving players a tactical advantage to win. The latest trailer gives you a glimpse of new updates.
The new fleet exploration update will allow pilots to become even more fun, efficient and destructive. New tools located in the center of the agency allow you to find and build a fleet that fits your plans, skill levels and interests. For both new and veteran players, this tool makes it more intuitive and useful to find fleets to join.
Also, the Reign update includes many features for an improved player experience. Improvements include changes to the main station management and map display methods, as well as a revamped jump tunnel graphic effect. The new Jump Tunnel is updated to show players the best graphics for immersion in different regions. A list of additional updates can be found on CCP’s developer blog.
There are also many events coming back this quarter, including the infamous Guardians Gala, where players can once again get amazing faction items, get skins, skill point boosters, Overseer effects, and more. To disrupt the Angel Cartel and Serpentis Pirate celebrations, players must fly to the event location located in a known wormhole space. All players who log in during the event will receive daily rewards.
