Lanaken –
The inhabitants of the Limburg hamlet of Herbricht (Lanaken) were cut off from the outside world after the heavy weather and the wild water of the Meuse. A hellish life-and-death boat trip awaited them to reach safety. Only now that the water level of the river is dropping does it become clear how the Herbrichtenaren have crawled through the eye of the needle. Now they speak on regional channel TV Limburg for the first time about their evacuation.
