A recurring strep throat in combination with the flu prevented her from presenting her show for a few days for the first time. The presenter is therefore ‘extremely happy’ that she can work again and has missed it enormously, she said on Friday evening.
“This time I was so sick that I lay in the same bathrobe in my bed for ten days. A tiger bath. Synthetic. Very warm,” says Eva. “I wasn’t really able to take care of myself.”

It was her parents who cooked a hot meal every evening for Eva and her family. When Marc-Marie Huijbregts, who is a guest, remarks why her husband has not helped, Eva says the following: “He is the most wonderful father you can imagine. The most loving, caring father.
