“There is now a stain on the world in which I work, the world that I have found so enchanting for twenty years. I think that is very bad,” says Eva, who has presented several talk shows in recent years. “I especially feel sorry for all those people who have been dealing with this all these years and felt like they could never tell. As far as I’m concerned, that has now definitely changed.”
Eva says she has spoken to several people who have had bad experiences elsewhere. “I know firsthand what it has done to them. The big question is: what will happen next?” According to her, it ‘cannot remain without consequences’.
Eva herself has never been guilty of inappropriate behavior. “I cannot imagine all the excesses described in the report. Not shouting, not angry outbursts. It’s not in me, but I don’t believe it works either. People don’t perform better if they are unhappy or afraid. It is complete madness to think that this would be necessary to achieve an achievement.”
