European League – Slovan Bratislava recognized a possible opponent in the 3rd preliminary round

SK Slovan Bratislava footballers will move to the 3rd preliminary round of the Europa League in the event of elimination with Ferencváros Budapest in the 2nd preliminary round of the Champions League 2022/2023. In it, their opponent would be the defeated team from the double match between Maccabi Haifa and Olympiakos Piraeus. It was decided by Monday’s draw in Nyon, Switzerland.

The first matches of the third qualifying round of the EL are scheduled for August 4, the return matches will take place a week later on August 11. In the initial matchup, the Slavs would play on the opponent’s field, and in the return match they would have the advantage of the home environment.

In addition to the defeated team from the Israel-Greece confrontation, the defeated teams from the double matches of the 2nd preliminary round of the LM Dinamo Zagreb – FC Škupi Skopje, HJK Helsinki – Viktoria Plzeň, Linfield FC – FK Bodö/Glimt, Žalgiris Vilnius – Malmö could also become opponents in the EL championship branch.
