The sad continuity continues with Stuttgart Surge: Seventh game of the season, seventh defeat – after a supposed upward trend, the Polish Panthers lost 0:34.

Two steps forward and three steps back, Stuttgart Surge remain without a win in the European League of Football this season. After two tight games against the Leipzig Kings (22:28) and the overtime drama against Frankfurt Galaxy (20:26), the Stuttgart team saw themselves on the right track – but the game on Sunday at the Panthers Wroclaw (Breslau) missed with a crash. It set a relentless 34-0 loss that reflected the difference between the two teams.
In the first quarter, the game was still back and forth, both teams made mistakes from which the opponent could not capitalize. But then the scales tipped more and more in the direction of the Poles. Surge quarterback Dante Vandeven and his offense didn’t really find their way into the game and lost a lot of turnovers, at the break Stuttgart were 0:20 behind. And even after that, nothing changed on the field. Surge blundered, the Panthers scored – after three quarters it was 34-0 for Wroclaw, Poland let the match die out in the last quarter and the visitors were unable to score anything countable.
