The massive deal has raised concerns about possible distortion of competition, prompting regulators in the European Union and Great Britain to launch investigations.

In order to alleviate these concerns and get the deal approved by the EC, Broadcom has promised to implement a number of measures, including providing access to the company’s products to other competitors.

“Broadcom” intends to expand the operation software in the market to promote the development of its server business, and for this purpose it has already acquired two more companies – “CA Technology” and “Symantec”.
