Danny Makkelie will be in charge of the Europa League final between Sevilla and Internazionale this Friday. UEFA announced this on Tuesday.
Makkelie mainly led matches in the Champions League this season, seven to be precise. On Saturday, he whistled the game between Manchester City and Olympique Lyon, which the latter team managed to win. Now Makkelie will be in charge of a Europa League final for the first time. It will be played next Friday in Köln.

Stefan de Vrij is under contract with Inter and Luuk de Jong with Sevilla. De Jong shot the Spanish club to the final battle at the expense of Manchester United.
