A lucky bettor in Dublin landed an incredible five-figure bargain after placing a 50-cent bet on last night’s Euromillions draw.
The anonymous winner took the lowercase from his BoyleSports account, picking four numbers for Friday’s draw.
They picked numbers 5, 8, 12 and 28 and faced massive odds of 33,000/1 against the four coming off the machine.
But they beat the huge odds of winning € 16,500
BoyleSports spokesperson Lawrence Lyons said: “ Huge congratulations to our client from Dublin who has proven in the best possible way that you don’t have to bet big to win big. I hope they can enjoy a huge treat now and all for a float of € 0.50. ”
