EU leaders want to use each other’s corona tests • Remembrance Day without an audience

The annual ceremony on Remembrance Day, the day the United Kingdom commemorates the end of the First World War, will be a private gathering this year due to the coronavirus. It will be held on November 8 this year.

The British pay attention on Remembrance Day to the armistice between Germany and the Allies, which took effect on November 11, 1918. At 11 a.m., two minutes of silence are observed and wreaths are laid at the Cenotaph, the British war memorial in London.

Normally there are many people at the Cenotaph, but next month only the royal family and politicians are allowed to attend. It is the first time since 1918 that there is no audience.
