BRUSSELS (Reuters) – European competition authorities are finalizing proceedings against Apple after a complaint filed by Swedish online music broadcaster Spotify, two sources with knowledge of the situation told Reuters.
This case is one of four opened by the European Commission last June against Apple which, in the event of a setback, could be forced to review its operation.
Spotify criticizes Apple for restricting access to its competitors’ music streaming services and levying a 30% royalty on application developers.
