At one time, the idea of ​​building a gigantic concert hall in the area of ​​the Moscow Ring Road caused confusion in the business community, as it was doubtful whether anyone would go there to have fun. However, the owners of Crocus were not mistaken, and the place quickly became popular. “Scorpions”, “Nazareth”, Elton John, Vanessa May and many others have performed in this concert hall.

Crocus Group founder and president Araz Agalarov was the seventh most successful Russian businessman in 2023, according to Forbes. His income from “Crocus Group” was 255 million dollars.

According to experts’ calculations, the initial losses caused by the terrorist attack on “Crocus City Hall” amounted to 9.5-11.4 billion rubles. Insurers indicate that the losses could be around 10 billion rubles (100 million euros), because the concert hall was insured for exactly this amount. It is not yet known whether the structure of the building and the main load-bearing elements have been damaged. It depends on how long the restoration of the concert hall will take.

On Sunday evening, the Russian Investigative Committee announced that 137 people died in the terrorist attack, of which 62 people have been identified.
