Esteban Ocon Praises Ryan Reynolds and His Impact on Alpine Racing Team

Esteban Ocon is in Austria to face the Grand Prix this weekend. The Frenchman is no stranger to ‘the latest bombshell’ that has happened at Alpine, and he has already praised leading man and investor actor Ryan Reynolds: “I think he’s fantastic.”

Fernando Alonso’s ex-partner stressed that he had already contacted the actor: “I was extremely lucky to be able to chat with Ryan on Tuesday. So we exchanged a couple of WhatsApp.”

And he even commented that he has been invited to the next ‘Deadpool 3’ movie in London. This is how the conversation told by Esteban took shape: “He told me that he was invited to the London set for the ‘Deadpool’ movie. So I’m definitely going!”

“I welcomed him to the team and he immediately said: ‘Hi Esteban, I really want to learn from you and get to know you,'” he said. “He also told me that he really wanted to learn about our world, see how things work and just have a chat about the world of racing,” he added.

“He is a very talented businessman”

Esteban also emphasized Reynolds’ business facet: “He is someone who is very inspiring in what he does.”

For this reason, he thinks that Alpine benefits from having an entrepreneur like the actor: “I think that everything Ryan has done recently with his company has been extremely successful.”

“There has not been any failure, that I know of. So yes, I think he is a very good asset, he and his team behind our team,” he explained. He also thinks that it will be key for the factory to continue growing and lead them to fight for “podiums, for victories, as soon as possible”, which has always been part of Alpine’s objective.

For all these reasons, Esteban Ocon expressed his desire to want to meet Ryan Reynolds as soon as possible.
