Erik ten Hag tar over Manchester United – VG

Manchester United announce that ten Hag will sign an agreement from next season until June 2025. The club reserves the right to obtain a work permit in England. Ralf Rangnick leads United in the spring.

He currently coaches Ajax and has impressed with the Amsterdam club, including the Champions League semi-final in 2019. Previously, ten Hag has coached the Go Ahead Eagles, Bayern Munich’s second team and Utrecht.

– It will be difficult to leave Ajax after four incredible years, and I can assure the fans that I am completely dedicated and focused on getting a successful finish before I move to Manchester United, says ten Hag.

Ajax leads Eredivisie with four points to PSV, while PSV recently won the cup final 2-1 against ten Hag’s men.

Recently, it has been reported in the British media that ten Hag will take over United after the season. Ole Gunnar Solskjær was fired by Manchester United in November. Since then, German Ralf Rangnick has led the club temporarily.
