The government encourages roles BUMN in job creation. One of them is through a BRILink agent.
BRILink is an expansion of BRI Bank services in which BRI collaborates with its customers as agents who can serve banking transactions using the BRI ATM mini EDC feature. This collaboration applies the concept of sharing fees.
BUMN Minister Erick Thohir said that for certain class agents, even the salary beats the minister’s.
“The BRILink agent whose class was named yesterday, skipper, if I’m not mistaken, net income per month is Rp. 20 million. The minister’s salary is Rp. 19 million,” he said to Erick at the Investor Appreciation Night, Thursday (19/1/2023).
According to Erick, this shows that there are sustainable jobs.
“This is what we say there is continuous continuous work,” he added.
In addition, BUMN also has a Prosperous Program to improve the welfare of farmers. Through this program, farmers get timely access to financing, seeds, and non-subsidized fertilizers.
“That’s where we push for the name Makmur, 250 thousand ha, 160 thousand farmers, their income has increased by 34%,” he said.
