Tales of Monkey Island is back! Guybrush Threepwood’s adventures, released in episodic format by Telltale over ten years ago, are back on Steam and GOG available. How PC Gamer notes, even at a discount of 50 percent, with which the complete package consisting of five episodes is available for 8.39 euros (GOG: 9.19 euros). The offer is valid until July 9th.
After the bankruptcy of Telltale Games in 2018, Monkey Island was one of the games in the studio that were no longer listed and sold in stores. However, a holding company called LCG Entertainment has secured the Telltale name and some of the licenses. The new release of Tales of Monkey Island is now in partnership with the publisher Athlon Games.
