You can get a free Second Extinction video game until 17:00 (December 22) at the Epic Games Store online video game store.
Second Extinction is still pre-release and is backed by Swedish game developers from Systemic Reaction (Avalanche Studios). This is a first-person shooter that can also be played solo, but primarily focuses on online cooperative gaming, in up to three players simultaneously. The plot of the game is set on the planet Earth, in which humanity is practically extinct due to mutated dinosaurs. So the planet is dominated by dinosaurs and you have no choice but to descend from orbit to the planet together with your team of friends and take the Earth back into human hands.
Second Extinction offers several playable characters, which are divided into different classes and each has its own weapons or unique perks. After an orbital landing, your three-member team must perform a number of different tasks, which are continuously updated. You can also play solo as a single player, but expect a higher difficulty of the game, because everything is built on progress in cooperation. Second Extinction belongs to the category of always only games and is usually sold on Epic for 520 crowns. If you like dinosaur shooters like Turok or Trespasser and you don’t mind cooperative actions, then this game can keep you entertained.
The game is still in the preliminary approach and the current preliminary rating of reviewers on the metacritic ranges from 60 to 75%.
