Apple and Fortnite developer Epic Games are in the middle of a legal battle; in the aftermath of the removal of the Fortnite app from App Store last week.
The legal battle has to do with the 30% deduction system Apple has implemented for game payments in the company’s app store–App Store.
“We will revoke the Epic Games privilege by closing the account starting at the end of August,” said Apple, such as information Economic News quote from Phone Arena, Tuesday (18/8/2020).

Previously, Apple asked Epic Games to remove the direct payment feature in gim Fortnite for violating policy App Store.
On its site, Epic Games writes, “Apple is keeping prices high so they can collect 30% player payouts; blocking Fortnite to prevent Epic from giving you (the player) a reduced cost via the direct payment feature.”
According to Apple, Epic claims that it will no longer have access to iOS or Mac developer tools starting August 28. Then, Epic filed a lawsuit on Monday (17/8/2020).
