The Al-Bir Association in the Eastern Province, in cooperation with the Ataa Volunteer Club of the Afaq Association for Community Development in Dhahran, launched a valuable awareness program with an entertaining nature, with the aim of enhancing the mental health of the association’s orphans.
Faisal Al-Misnad, the association’s media spokesman and Assistant Secretary-General for Institutional Communication, said that the association is keen to care for and support orphans among its beneficiaries in the Eastern Province, and to provide them with all means of psychological, social, educational and sports care.
Program Goals
He added that the program aims to enhance the mental health of orphans through a group of educational and awareness programs related to entertainment, to combine learning with entertainment. He pointed out that King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals recently hosted the association’s orphans, to provide programs aimed at teaching them life skills through motor games and interactive corners.
Al-Misnad pointed out the role of community partnerships in achieving the objectives of the association’s strategic development plan and their effective impact in achieving its objectives.
