English Wolverhampton defender Max Kilman confirmed that he is prohibited from playing for the Ukrainian national team.
Also, 26-year-old Kilman said that he was going to wait for a call to the England national team and talked about how his mother’s relatives continue to live in Ukraine.
“Grandfather wants to be in Kyiv. He lived there all his life, and said that if he had to die, he wanted to be where he was born and spent his whole life. All my mom’s family is there and they all think: “We want to be here.” I know Kiev is a little safer than other cities in Ukraine, but I wouldn’t feel safe. They have to be very careful when they go out because you never know when there might be shootings,” Kilman said.
Max Kilman has played nine matches for Wolverhampton this season.
