Growth continues at Traduction Scriptis and we are looking for a translator-reviser who is knowledgeable in personal insurance and financial services for a permanent position, full-time. We also want to expand our pool of pigistes in this domain. In addition to his solid financial knowledge, the candidate must have good work experience and be familiar with the profession of professional translator. Nothing or almost nothing escapes him; most of the time, he is entrusted with work with his eyes closed, but he himself keeps his eyes open, hunting down the smallest imperfections. He shuns complacency when it comes to customer satisfaction, but remains concerned about the profitability of the company. He likes to laugh while having enough humility to accept being shown to him. He knows how to dissect the financial realities and is not at all intimidated by tax news, insurance contracts and stock market analyzes.
Scriptis’ offices are located in Laval and we perfect the art of telecommuting.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in translation of 60 credits or more, or member in good standing of OTTIAQ
- At least three years of experience in a team of translators, in a structured environment
- Proven knowledge in the financial field
- CCVM or LOMA training, an asset
- Strong writing skills
- Proficiency in the Office suite, CAT tools and standard reference tools (working knowledge of memoQ, an asset);
- Extensive general knowledge
- Autonomy, good professional judgment, desire to learn and share knowledge
