Manchester: The English team preparing for the T20 World Cup in Australia has suffered a severe blow. England have a limit for injured captain Jos Buttler. Due to the injury, the player is likely to miss the entire T20I series of seven away games against Pakistan starting September 20.
However, reports suggest he could be considered if conditions are favorable, even if he misses the last two games. The Pakistani streak is crucial for England with the ICC T20 World Cup kicking off in Australia next month. The England Cricket Board (ECB) wants to give as much time as possible to ensure the captain’s fitness ahead of the mega event.

According to the Daily Mail, Jos Buttler is said to have been advised by his medical team to take things slow. The report also suggests that all-rounder Moeen Ali will lead the team for four T20 games in Karachi. The Daily Mail reports that although Butler’s injury is not serious, he was excluded because he cannot take the risk.
