England goalkeeper takes player setup to Qatar to play Fortnite

England’s starting goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford, has proven to be as addicted to video games as many of us. In order not to abandon the game, he brought his own player configuration to Qatar during this period of the World Cup. And detail: play Fortnite.

He revealed the contents of one of his bags in a video produced by the English Football Association. In addition to talking about how the tournament went and his teammates’ “review” in the locker room, Pickford talked about golf and matches.

The athlete, who plays for Everton, revealed that he was tired of playing on a laptop with a small screen and therefore decided to bring more equipment to Qatar. He even got his own laptop, but with a much bigger monitor, all packed into a big case. Watch the video below where he talks about it:

“[Estou] I’m just trying to get the best frames and stuff,” Pickford told the interviewer. He also said it’s hard to get used to being without the same gamer setup he has at home with huge screens.

Previously, the goalkeeper had already given advice on how to pass the time when there is no training or match. “He’s trying to pick you up, feel good about yourself, whatever you need,” he said. “Spend some time with the guys… Fortnite,” he added, adding that he’s still in the “Fortnite vibe.”

The world’s most popular Battle Royale recently received Chapter 4, which has a new map, Unreal Engine 5 features, new skins, and much more.
