ENEDIS is committed to ecological transition! » The economic and political newsletter of PACA

The community of municipalities, during the Steering Committee of its CRTE, will strengthen its measures in favor of the ecological transition of the territory, through a support agreement, with its partner Enedis.

On Tuesday July 5 at 3 p.m., at the headquarters of the Community of Communes in Varages, a Support Agreement for the Contract for Recovery and Ecological Transition (CRTE), was signed by Nathalie Alexandre (Territorial Director Var of Enedis in Côte d’Azur) and Hervé Philibert (President of the Community of Communes Provence Verdon) in the presence of Mr Charbel ABOUD, Sub-Prefect of Brignoles.

Enedis makes available to the Community of Communes Provence Verdon tools and skills to support the territory in its ecological transition actions:

– Enable optimized production of renewable energy (EnR) in the territory, thanks to tools simulating the possibilities of connecting EnR, or using territorial energy balance sheets.

– Prioritize the energy renovation of buildings in member municipalities. Make Enedis’ expertise available to accelerate the decarbonization of transport, with scenarios for deploying charging stations for electric vehicles.

– Supporting the City Center and Small Towns of Tomorrow initiatives, in particular through the provision of a dedicated Enedis contact person.

These are all actions that are fully in line with the Multiannual Energy Program (PPE), or the Mobility Orientation Law (LOM), two of the major chapters of the government’s roadmap in terms of deployment of CRTEs.

This is also the role of Enedis, manager of the public distribution network, to be a responsible industrialist with a positive impact when it undertakes to provide concrete solutions, to support the ambition of the territories, in terms of transition. ecological.
