End of the health pass in the major shopping centers of Seine-Saint-Denis

It was the last department in Île-de-France where the health pass was requested in large shopping centers.

The improvement in the health situation made it possible to lift the obligation to present the health pass in shopping centers in Seine-Saint-Denis said the prefecture of the department this Friday evening.

In Seine-Saint-Denis, 12 shopping centers were concerned: Le Millénaire (Aubervilliers), O’Parinor (Aulnay-sous-Bois), Bel Est (Bagnolet), Bel Air (Blanc-Mesnil), Avenir (Drancy), L ‘Ilo (Épinay-sur-Seine), La Grande Porte (Montreuil), Les Arcades (Noisy-le-Grand), Domus (Rosny-sous-Bois), Westfield Rosny II (Rosny-sous-Bois), Carrefour (Stains ) and Bienvenu (Villetaneuse).

The health pass had been maintained in the department because its incidence rate was close to 200 per 100,000 inhabitants last week. It is 167 this Friday according to the Covid Tracker site.

Numerous legal remedies

Numerous appeals have been filed in Île-de-France against the obligation to present a health pass in shopping centers. In Seine-Saint-Denis, it was the CGT 93 which had seized the administrative court of Montreuil.

The administrative justice then issued contradictory decisions, suspending it in Yvelines or Essonne and confirming it in Paris or in Val d’Oise.
