French President Emmanuel Macron, who contracted KOVID-19 in December, announced on Twitter tonight that he and his wife Bridget had been vaccinated and called on all French people to do the same, AFP reported.
“Like Bridget and me, like 25 million French people so far, let’s get vaccinated! To protect ourselves, to protect our loved ones,” the French head of state wrote after the first tweet, which read only “I’m vaccinated!”, BTA reported.
Macron, 43, received an injection after vaccination is available to all adults in France today. He is vaccinated more than five months after the illness, following the recommendations of the health authorities to the patients to wait at least 3 months and to put only one dose.
