Emirates News Agency – Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed meets with heads of international space agencies, leaders of space forces participating in Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue

ABU DHABI, December 5, WAM / His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Bureau, met with Dr. Jitendra Singh, Indian Minister of State for space, science and technology, and a number of heads of international space agencies and leaders of the space forces. Participating in the “Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue” to discuss ways of cooperation in the field of peaceful uses of space.

And under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, the first edition of the “Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue”, organized by the Emirates Space Agency, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Defence, will be hosted at the ADNOC Business Center until 6 December. His Excellency Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel, and representatives of the most important international space agencies for an exchange of views and ideas on the elements of development and development provided by outer space and discuss the importance of issuing new international laws and standards aimed at improve opportunities for the peaceful use of outer space.

The meeting was attended by Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Education and Advanced Technology, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Space Agency and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Senior Committee for Space Dialogue, Her His Excellency Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director General of the Emirates Space Agency, and His Excellency Faisal Al Bannai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Edge Group and Secretary General of the Advanced Technology Research Council.

The Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue will last two days, with the large participation of more than 300 decision makers, representatives of space agencies, ministers and international specialized companies from 47 countries.
