The opening ceremony was attended by Saleh Al-Saadi, Deputy Ambassador of the UAE to Egypt, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, Head of the Egyptian Union of Acting Professions, Ahmed Bou Rahima, Director of the Theater Department, and Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Qaseer , director of the Cultural Affairs Department of the Department of Culture, together with a large number of Egyptian artists and artists.

At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Abdullah Al Owais took down the curtain from the building’s memorial plaque to announce the official opening of the residence.

Al Owais gave a speech during which he addressed the cooperation process between the UAE and Egypt, saying, ‘Today we welcome a renewed Arab meeting bringing together the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt. This was represented in the series of cultural and scientific projects made by benevolent hands out of loyalty to dear Egypt and out of gratitude for what it has provided to the Arab nation.

In his speech, the Head of Culture Department announced the awarding of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for a financial depot to manage the financial and administrative affairs of the ‘Dar’, saying, “As we witness the opening of a residence for elders affiliated with the Union of Representative Professions in Egypt, I have the honor to announce the award of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah for a financial deposit to handle the financial and administrative affairs of the “Dar” which covers all operational expenses, including wages for workers and the treatment of residents in the house, wishing you continued health and well-being.

Saleh Al-Saadi said the humanitarian blessing for the establishment of a nursing home for Egyptian artists by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, is within the framework of the His Highness’ support for humanitarian endeavours, and his appreciation of art and artists in many parts of our Arab world, especially his sister Egypt, which he singled out for many support, emphasizing that His Highness wishes to honor artists and creators, emphasizing that among those humanitarian initiatives of His Highness The Ruler of Sharjah in Egypt is His Highness’s support for many medical institutions, including support for Mansoura City Liver Hospital and Cairo University Institute of Oncology. .. and many others.

Al-Owais and the public toured the “Dar” facilities and listened to a detailed explanation given by engineer Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, the project’s technical adviser, from the beginning of its construction to its completion.
