ABU DHABI, September 17 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, today telephoned His Majesty King Charles III, during which he congratulated him on the occasion of his accession to the throne of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, wishing Her Majesty success in his duties The monarchy and continuing in the footsteps of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
During the call, His Highness expressed his best wishes to King Charles III for good health and happiness and to Britain and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Majesty King Charles III thanked His Highness, expressing his sincere appreciation for the congratulations of His Highness the Head of State and for the sincere feelings he expressed towards His Majesty, his country and his people.
