BEIJING, Oct 24 / WAM / Today, official data showed that China’s gross domestic product grew 3.9 percent in the third quarter from last year.
Economic growth accelerated between July and September from 0.4% in the second quarter, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
Industrial production showed signs of a more rapid recovery as industrial value-added production increased 4.8% year-on-year in the third quarter, up 4.1 percentage points from the previous quarter.
In the first three quarters of this year, investment in the country’s fixed assets increased by 5.9% compared to a year ago, including growth of 8.6% in infrastructure investments and 10.1% in industrial investments. while investments in the real estate sector decreased by 8% cents.
